What a beautifully eclectic stop in Falkland ....the most amazing friendly staff, more than amazing food and a comfortable dining experience.

We stopped for dinner on a Friday evening on our way to Kamloops. The special was fish and chips. So yummy! Loved the rustic, homey atmosphere. Looks like their pizzas would be good as many locals came in to pick up pizza. Their baked goods looked delicious. Will definitely be back!

Great meals and pizza

Neat little cafe. Good breakfast and pretty average prices. Service was good. This is a great place to consider for a bite when doing a road trip through the interior. They serve beer, freshly baked goods (syrup, bread, cinnamon buns, pastries, etc).

Great meal friendly service excellent crispyness on the onion rings elk burger was delicious.

Homemade breads and sauces local eggs and meat. ALWAYS amazing food. Awesome staff . If you ever pass through its a must stop at the Ranch.❤️

Stopped by early afternoon for lunch, was not disappointed. Such friendly staff, great selection of food, quick service and very reasonable prices. Food was super delicious! Would highly recommend :)

Great food stop off the highway. Amazing fresh ingredients. All baked goods homemade on the premises and exceed expectations. The one staff member in the front greeted us right when we walked in and was cheerful the whole time. Nice little tables outside on the deck. Will absolutely be coming back next time we pass through.

Food and service was great.

I overheard a convo where a guy wanted to join his friend, friends wife and 2 kids while they ate. He just wanted to have a beer and not eat. The waitress told him he had to order food if he was going to sit there and told him to go to the pub if he just wanted a drink. It's not like he was taking up any more space, the place wasnt full. But she was quite rude about it. I regret leaving a tip. I understand the place is small and there was a rodeo but that is no way to treat a patron especially if he is joining a table that has enough space and he is purchasing something. I think some things were a little overpriced, for example the bison burger was small and charred heavily which made it dryer than it needed to be. We had lunch and dinner there. Both times the meat was dry. The chicken club was way better than the bison burger though. Smoked chicken.

Great food. Good home down cookin and nice home feeling for customers away from home. I recommend you take a trip out there. Well worth it.

A group of us went there for dinner the food was great only one person in our group did not like their dinner, they have elk, bison, duck and a lot more on their menu but the baked good are why you come to this magical place along the hwy, best in the area, our server was so comical friendy and good I would def recomend this cafe

Nice cozy little place. Their desserts are excellent. The signature cheesecake is the best in BC!!!! Apart frm that dishes like elk meatballs , duck sausages and beer battered mushrooms are worth trying. The highlight was meatlovers pizza with insane amount of fillings. PS- most of their beef and duck comes from family owned farms in falkland town.

Everything is homemade down to the bread, mustard, + sauerkraut. Best darned Reuben I have ever had!!

Excellent place to eat FRESH FOOD, I mean the taste it's different from other regular restaurants, so be sure that you're going to like it. Also the service it's quickly, another point for them! If you have the chance don't think it twice and give a shot!

Best pizza I've had in a long time!

We had the pizza, it was excellent. The service was excellent. Very sad that they only had a very limited menu. We were craving a good burger and fries and gravy😥

Order the Confit de Conard (Duck Confit salad) and be impressed. The presentation is spectacular and the flavours are fresh. The hostess is very amicable and willing to accommodate you. Take your time and enjoy the rancher atmosphere.

Homestyle Cooking in a quaint old building in the heart of Falkland. Quiet and scenic surrounding. They also have pastries & baked goods available. Great service with a smile. Comfy place to grab a meal while traveling through the area. Loved the split pea soup, beef reuben, and bison reuben sandwich!

We stopped in for lunch and it was amazing. Friendly service, amazing food, and it was quick! I had the ham & brie sandwich with their pea soup and it was perfect. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back!

Great local cafe. Very good pizza and good selection. Slightly pricey but worth it.

Very friendly staff and convenient for travellers, even with long RVs. If you’re a vegetarian then you won’t have much of a selection as the menu is meat & game based. As with most places these days, finding skilled staff that will show up for work is a challenge so our meal was quite disappointing but since you pay (and tip!) when you order there was little use in mentioning it to anyone. We’ve been told by locals that breakfast is usually fantastic and if you’re stopping for a meal then stick to the pizza. That’s what we will do next time (if there is a next time).

Delicious cafe in Falkland, BC. Fresh local Bison Burgers, Duck Perogies and delicious baked goods. Definitely a must stop if you are on your way through!

If, for whatever reason you find yourself going through Falkland on your way anywhere I highly recommend stopping at the Ranch cafe. First off, the food is wonderful and a good size portion for your dollar. Secondly, the burgers are amazing, especially the bison or elk burgers. Breakfast is worth the drive just for that. I personally love the sixshooter however everything I've had has been great. I will happily recommend anything off the menu.But the best thing on earth about the ranch cafe is all the baked goods. They have everything from cookies to pies, squares to bannock.

Perfect stop in & feed your family restaurant. Good options & portions. Food is fresh, deep fried food was not greasy. Fries are delicious. Also has fresh baked goods to choose from.

Amazing restaurant with great pastries and sandwiches. The turnovers are amazing and worth stopping for or making a detour. Good selection of tea.

Circumstances dictated that we weren't having a Thanksgiving dinner at home this year, so went to the Ranch Cafe for their special. We were not dissapointed. Everything was excellent, from the starter cream of rutabaga soup through to the home made pumpkin pie. The presentation and portion was also first rate.

Great lunch. Delicious burger and fries. Definitely will be back.
